About GDPR
As of May 25th 2018, a new set of EU regulations called General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) come into
effect. The purpose of GDPR is to provide greater protection and rights to individuals regarding their
personal data. When you communicate with our services certain Personal Identifiable Information about you will
be stored by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your rights under GDPR
Under the GDPR regulations, the key objectives are privacy and protection of personal data.
This is a list of your rights (will be in effect on May 25, 2018):
- Right to information. You can ask a company for information about what personal data is being processed and why it’s processed.

How your data is processed
When you access this website, temporary cookies will be used to keep track of your movement through the site.
Browser information and your IP-address are logged. Unless you have created an account no personal information is kept.
If you create and account you consent to storing and processing of your personal data. We store this data
to be able to deliver the services you are entitled to. This includes running exams, accessing results and
downloading your certificates. In additional to the information you enter we also record and for statistics store:
- Data about the exam. We record what questions you have received, your answers to the questions,
time when starting and ending the exam, your score and the number of times the exam window has been activated.
- Public IP-address and OS version of your computer - for troubleshooting and security reasons
- When running an exam using the Tangix TesterPRO software, extensive information may be logged to a local
text-file that can be sent to Tangix for support. The information in this text-file is not automatically uploaded
Please note that Tangix acts as Processor of your personal data and requests should be directed to the
Controller of the data as specified in Tangix Privacy Policy below.
How long we store your data
If you have taken a certification exam or purchased an exam credit through the web-store we will maintain your
account for a minimum of two years to allow you to use the products purchased and access your certificates.
Your exam results are kept for a minimum of two years after the exam was taken. For statistical purposes your exam
results will be stored in anonymous form even after your account has been deleted.
Your certification achievements are kept in the system for the duration of your account. For statistical purposes
your exam results will be stored in anonymous form even after your account has been deleted.
Tangix Privacy Policy

Tangix Design & Development AB, Mörbydalen 15, 182 52 Danderyd, Sweden (hereinafter "Tangix") processes
Personal Data (as defined below) of people using and browsing this website (the "Site") and accessing
the Certification service, solely acting as a Processor on behalf of Dassault Systèmes, a
French « société européenne », registered in the Trade and Companies Register of Versailles and with its
principal place of business at 10 rue Marcel Dassault 78140 Vélizy-Villacoublay , France, and its
Affiliates.
In accordance with Swedish and European Union law, and by agreement with Dassault Systèmes, Tangix is
restricted to only process personal data for which Dassault Systèmes is the Controller in accordance
with Dassault Systèmes instructions.
1 SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy sets forth the principles and guidelines governing the protection of the Personal
Data (as defined below) collected on or through the Site and concerning the Site’s visitors and users
("You" or "Your").
Personal data ("Personal Data") means any information that may result in the identification of an
individual. Non-Personal Data means any information that does not result in the identification of an
Individual.
Your use of the Site and any Personal Data You provide on the Site are subject to the terms of this Privacy

In order to use certain functions and features of the Site, it is required that You provide certain
Personal Data when visiting or using the Site.

administration is limited and protected using two-factor authentication measures.
